EPL: Loftus-Cheek takes final decision on leaving Chelsea for new club

Chelsea midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, has decided to remain at the club amid reports linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge to Leicester City this summer.

According to the Telegraph, Loftus-Cheek has ‘no desire’ to leave Chelsea and does not want to be included in a part-exchange bid to sign defender Wesley Fofana, despite interest from Leicester.

Leicester is keen on landing the 26-year-old, who is out of favour at Chelsea.

Loftus-Cheek has failed to reach his potential at Chelsea, despite his obvious talent.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers’ biggest strength is his ability to bring out the best in under-performing players and a move to the King Power Stadium has been touted, particularly given Chelsea’s interest in Fofana.

Chelsea is keen to bring down Leicester’s £80 million asking price for Fofana by offering players to go in the opposite direction and Rodgers is keen on Loftus-Cheek.
