Popular Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has stated that his daughter’s image is at stake, following the viral video where he was seen dragging a young girl out of the SUV and roughly escorting her into his car.

Shortly after the young lady whom many speculated was his daughter got settled in the actor’s car, Okocha was seen wielding a spade which he used to hit the windscreen of his friend’s car several times; hence damaging it.

Speaking on the video viral, the actor took to his Instagram page on Friday to state that the video was just a scene from a movie and had nothing to do with his family.

This corroborated what he told The PUNCH in a phone chat on Thursday, where he said, “What people saw is a scene from a movie I am featured in but it is not yet released. I will have addressed this issue since but I am currently filming in the east and I am very busy at the moment.”

He finally addressed the issue in his latest Instagram video, where he asked that the false story concerning his daughter should be put down by online blogs.

He said, “You all should take it down. That’s not nice. That’s not cool. You guys should take it down. My daughter’s image is at stake. I love my daughter so much to the moon and back. I cannot trade her for anything. Please take it down. Let’s respect ourselves.”

Okocha added that if the situation were to be in reality, “it would have been worse than smashing a windscreen; because I don’t play when it comes to family.”

He added, “Who knows? That dude probably would have been hospitalised by now, that’s if he lives on.”
