    Premier League club, Manchester United will make a decision over coach Erik Ten Hag’s future with the Dutch manager expected to be sacked this week.

    According to Mail Online, Thomas Tuchel has emerged as the likely candidate to become the next manager after holding talks with Man. United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

    Sir Jim Ratcliffe held talks with former Chelsea boss Tuchel in Monaco on last Tuesday to hear the German’s plans for the club if he were chosen to replace Erik ten Hag.

    While no final decision on the future of current incumbent Erik ten Hag has yet been made, officials have spoken to several potential replacements, including Brentford boss Thomas Frank, ex-Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and Tuchel’s fellow former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino.

    Meanwhile, it is understood that Tuchel is expected to take time away from football despite holding talks with Ratcliffe in Monaco last Tuesday.

    At the meeting, Tuchel outlined his plans if he were approached to replace Ten Hag.

    The German spoke of how he would address United’s various issues on the playing side and disclosed how he would go about returning outcast Jadon Sancho and underperforming Mason Mount whom he worked with at Stamford Bridge – back on form.

    According to a report in the German publication Bild, Tuchel had cited ex-Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger as an example of his ability to bring the best out of his players. However, Tuchel is no longer in the running for the job

    Cascarino said Sesko, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, is powerful and dribbles like Giggs.

    Speaking to talkSPORT, Cascarino said about Sesko, who currently plays for RB Leipzig:

    “He is 6ft 4in, 6ft 5in. He is a big lad, powerful as well, and he can dribble. For someone who is 6ft 5in, he runs with the ball unbelievably.

    “He gets linked to being similar to Haaland, but if you watch him play, he dribbles, like Ryan Giggs.

    “He will run at people and he will literally go around them.”

    “That’s why I play soccer, for the big games, to face the best. And in that sense, Kylian is the ‘Crème de la Crème’. So it is very satisfying.

    “Playing against players like this encourages you to continue.”

    Kounde and Mbappe will hope to lead France to victory when the Euro 2024 starts this week in Germany.

    Former Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel has decided against taking the Manchester United coaching job this summer.

    This was disclosed by football transfer
    expert Fabrizio Romano.

    According to Romano, Tuchel wants to take a break from coaching this summer.

    Recall that Tuchel has been linked with a move to Man United to replace Ten Hag, whose future at Old is currently uncertain.

    “Thomas Tuchel NOT planning to take Man United job, he wants to take a break not coaching any club this summer,” Romano tweeted.

    “Tuchel currently decided not to continue in talks with United after meeting in the recent weeks.

    “United, deciding on Erik ten Hag future soon.”

    The Nigerian Premier League match between the Rangers International Football Club of Enugu and Enyimba Football Club of Aba ended in chaos after a late penalty call.

    The game tagged ‘Oriental Derby’, which went down on Sunday, June 9, at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, was a title decider with Rangers topping the league standings ’60 points’ and Enyimba trailing them by two points.

    The problem was toward the end of the game when the referee made a late penalty call after a Rangers player was brought down.

    Unfortunately, the decision prompted Enyimba players to stage a walkout with their fans invading the pitch to disrupt the match.

    The game between Rangers and Enyimba was later abandoned.
