A teenager has been k!lled, with three others wounded in a sho0ting following a California high school graduation ceremony.

Police responded around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, to the shooting in the parking lot of Fairfield High School, around 50 miles northeast of San Francisco, Officer Michelle Belyea said at a news conference, per the Los Angeles Times.

The youngest of the three wounded was just 11 years old, along with two adults aged 20 and 25, Belyea said.

“There was one additional victim, an 18-year-old, who did succumb to their injuries sustained during this incident,” she said.

“This is a very active incident,” Belyea said, adding an investigation is underway, and they have no information to suggest there is “any ongoing threat to the community at this time.”

While one of the sho0ting victims was pronounced dead, three others were transported to the hospital, per the Los Angeles Times and KTVU Fox2.

It’s currently unclear what condition the injured victims are in.

Authorities said the ages of the wounded individuals were 11, 20 and 25 years old, while the victim who died was 18, KTVU and CBS News reported.

The incident occurred at the end of a graduation ceremony at Sem Yeto High School, which was being held at Fairfield High School, per CBS News and KTVU.

“It’s a very scary incident when something like this does happen, especially during the end of a school event,” Belyea said in the news conference, per the Los Angeles Times. “So, obviously, we just want everyone to be safe.”
