Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will only welcome Alexis Sanchez back to the club, if he is ready to play a bit-part role in the team, the UK Mirror reports.
Solskjaer has held talks with the club’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, making clear Sanchez cannot play a major role under him.
The Norwegian also does not want to block the pathway of Mason Greenwood and Daniel James, by reintroducing Sanchez to his squad.
The Chilean attacker is currently on a season-long loan move at Inter Milan.
Sanchez failed to shine at Old Trafford, following a swap deal move from Arsenal in January 2018.
He scored only three times in 32 Premier League games for United, before leaving for Italy.
