Rev. Paul Abam of Word Based Prophetic & Deliverance Ministries (a.k.a. City of Deliverance) in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area in Cross River State, who recently fell from grace for trying to bury a spell in Someone’s Land, has confessed that he has buried spells in people’s homes to perform miracles.

Abam, who was caught burying charms at his cousin’s house in Itigidi in Abi parish in Cross River state, made the confession earlier this week after being paraded in handcuffs and with plantain leaves.

During the interrogation, he said, “After I bury the talismans, people will be forced to come to me and ask for liberation because I would have to go back there to dig up the talismans I buried before. So I can sell my oil, it is a business. I am not hurting anyone, I am just collecting money”.

A source who spoke to journalists during the Prophet’s parade on Monday, June 15, 2020, said that Father Abam deceived people under the guise of being a “real man of God,” but they discovered that he was a fake and a fetish.

he said, “He walks around with his men of God, who are like his foot soldiers, who have gathered for him the information on how to attract the victims.

“Then they bury charms on people’s property and make them believe they are charms from supposed enemies, and when people are gullible or desperate, they fall for his trick.

“He has sold olive oil and other items for up to 3000 N and would have sold no less than 250,000 bottles.

“The last time he was caught burying trailers in the factory of one of our sons in Itigidi, they hatched a plan to lure and milk him, unfortunately they were seen planting the trailers.

“When they were captured, we had to show it off in our traditional way so that our people could see and know who was behind their challenges, because many people were victims.

“When he planted the talismans, people paid N55,000 to remove the talismans, there was a contractor to whom he sold oil for N800,000, and more people who heard about the incident from other communities are coming forward,” the eyewitness said.

According to PARADISE NEWS, Abam was a pastor at the Presbyterian Church in Ugep, but the greed and hunger for money and fame prompted him to open his own church – as the former do not indulge in such an act.

Some members of his church have reportedly made an attempt to prove how innocent their spiritual leader is.

Some have even claimed that he was framed, despite the video evidence in which Pastor Paul accepted his atrocities and the confession that his boys also made when he asked them to commit those acts. All their arguments indicate that they want the church to reopen.
