Manchester United star Scott McTominay has signed a new five-year contract with Manchester United, which will keep him at the club until June 2025, with an option to extend for another year after his exceptional outburst this season.
Scott McTominay made his debut with Jose Mourinho in 2017, but is now a key player for the club, competing with players like Paul Pogba for a place in central midfield.
Having played 28 games in all competitions this season, McTominay has been rewarded for his consistent performances with a new contract. Since his 75 appearances for the first team in 2017, he has scored six goals.

“All I’ve ever known is United, and I hope my passion for the club will show every time I step out onto the pitch. I will continue to give everything for this club whenever I put on the jersey.
“I would like to thank the manager for the trust he has placed in me and in everyone at the club who has helped me get to where I am today. I look forward to ending this season with a high and hopefully achieving our goals.
Solskjaer reacted to the new agreement with Manutd.com.
“Scott has done extremely well since I joined and he is an important part of our midfield. He brings determination, tenacity and skill to the game and we know that Scott’s qualities will be a great asset to the team in the years to come,” Solskjaer said.
“As we always say, the academy is the foundation of the club and after going through the system, everyone knows that Scott has shown exactly the mentality needed to succeed at Manchester United. I’m looking forward to seeing him improve further in the years ahead,” Solskjaer said.
