The federal high court suiting in Port Harcourt has received an interim injunction plea to retrain governor Godwin Obaseki from participating in the PDP scheduled primary elections.

The case with suit no: FHC/PH/CS/69/2020 was instituted by one Omoregie Ogbeidie -Ihama who is also an aspirant asking the court to restrain Obaseki from who just decamped to the PDP from participating in the party primary election.

Ihiama has played a fast one on Obaseki and this may be another blow, the governor has to dodge.

With the way things are going, if Ihiama is not settled, Obaseki may not participate in the PDP primary election which will be a huge loose for the Governor who was rumoured to have paid his ways to get the PDP waivers.

According to Olusegun, Omoregir Ogbeide-Ihama argued that since Obaseki was not part of the candidates screened by the PDP NWC initially before the date on the timetable lapsed, he should not be allowed to participate in the primaries.
Though the court is yet to grant a ruling on the plea as at the time of writing this report.

Technicalities will arise against both the APC and the PDP. Even if Obaseki overcomes this, his certificate saga may still be used against him.

Meanwhile, another Federal High Court has earlier ruled that Giadom is the APC chairman and Giadom May likely scrap the APC primary election.

There are rumours that the three PDP aspirants have refused to step down for Obaseki to contest under the flagship of the PDP.

Recently Obaseki dramatically renamed Adams Oshiomole street after former senate president Bukola Saraki.

Edo is really a drama scene.
