Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has again told Harry Maguire to leave the club.
According to Ferdinand, the England international has been disrespected by manager Erik ten Hag after the Dutchman opted to play Luke Shaw in the central defence instead of him last month.
Ten Hag has preferred Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in his central defense this season, meaning Maguire has started just four Premier League games.
There were reports Maguire would make a shocking move to Aston Villa last month but United have already dismissed the reports.
But Ferdinand insists the England international will be unhappy with how he has been treated by the Man United’s Dutch boss at Old Trafford.
“If you’re him you have to leave now,” Ferdinand said of Maguire on Vibe With Five.
“Luke Shaw’s playing centre-back instead of him.
“That’s like me going back after the World Cup, playing well, everyone saying he’s done really well, and Patrice Evra is playing centre-back.
“I’d want to strangle Patrice! I would’ve smashed Patrice in training to make sure he’s not available.
“Harry Maguire’s got to move,” he added.
