The manager already waiting to take Graham Potter’s job at Chelsea has been revealed.
According to The Sun, former Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is already waiting for the announcement of Potter’s sack to be made for him to step in.
The Argentine is open to replacing the under-fire Englishman at Stamford Bridge.
Potter is currently under enormous pressure with Chelsea slipping to 10th in the Premier League.
The Blues were on fire during Potter’s early days at Stamford Bridge after he replaced Thomas Tuchel but results fell away before the World Cup.
The Sun reports that the Blues’ hierarchy are already considering the former Brighton’s boss’ future.
They are only expecting the 47-year-old to turn things around in the remaining days of January.
The report claimed that Pochettino, a former Tottenham boss, is waiting in the wings if Chelsea are in the market for a new manager.
Pochettino managed Tottenham and Southampton at different spells in the Premier League.
The report says that Pochettino would be willing to take over at Chelsea as he already has a house in London and is spending a lot of time in the English capital.
