Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has said he is considering “ridiculous” plans for their derby at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Before then, City take on Southampton in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
But Guardiola is already looking ahead to their trip to Manchester United.
The Premier League champions will go into the game five points behind leaders Arsenal.
“I have a few ideas, thoughts – ridiculous ones against United – but still I didn’t watch their last games.
“I have to see the way they play at home and if they change something. I still have to review it; that is why I don’t have a clear lineup [yet] against United,” Guardiola said.
Guardiola rested key players of his squad for the FA Cup win against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, including Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.
