Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona has admitted the best players in the world no longer want to move to Old Trafford.
He advised the Red Devils to follow Liverpool’s example and be ‘shrewder’ in the transfer market.
United have made impressive progress under Erik ten Hag this season with the club currently sat in fourth place and still competing in all four competitions.

The Red Devils legend insisted that Erik ten Hag’s side must be ‘clever’ in the transfer market in order to bridge the gap.
“The best don’t want to go to Man Utd, they want to go to Man City or Real Madrid,” Cantona told The Times.
“They[Manchester United]have to be more clever,” he added, noting that before Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané joined Liverpool, they were not the greatest in the world.
The Red Devils allowed the likes of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic to leave the club on free transfers in the summer of 2020.
Most recently, the contract of superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo was terminated and the Portuguese is now I’m Asia with Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr.
