Following Manchester United’s 2-1 win over rival neighbour, Manchester City, former player Paul Scholes has said United are in the title race.
City saw their 1-0 lead at United’s Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon overturned when Bruno Fernandes curled home before Marcus Rashford netted the winning goal three minutes later.
The winning made it nine wins in a row for United, with United now third on the English Premiership table, one point behind City.
However, Scholes said there is a positive feeling around Man Utd’s prospects for the rest of the season.
“Are they in the title race? I think you have to say they are.
“I felt something in this ground today that I haven’t felt for a long time!,” he told BT Sport.
