Chelsea have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of their Premier League tie with Liverpool on Saturday afternoon at Anfield.
Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, confirmed this after the Blues’ Premier League 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Potter said that midfielder Denis Zakaria would probably be out for four weeks due to an injury.
Zakaria sustained a blow in their Premier League 2-1 defeat against Fulham last Thursday.
Speaking after Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, Potter said at his post-match press conference: “Denis will probably be out for four weeks, so that is a blow for us.”
Zakaria joined Chelsea on loan from Serie A giants Juventus last summer.
