Casemiro appears to have blamed Bruno Fernandes for the booking that will see him [Casemiro] miss Manchester United’s crucial Premier League game against Arsenal at the weekend.
The midfielder was left ‘furious’ with Fernandes after the yellow card was dished out by the referee on Wednesday night.
Casemiro, who has been widely described as the Red Devils’ best player this season, started against Crystal Palace a booking away from picking up a one-match suspension.
On 80 minutes, the Brazilian brought down Wilfried Zaha as the Palace star threatened to burst past him.
Prior to that, his midfield partner Fernandes was unable to win the ball, beaten to it by Tyrick Mitchell who brushed past a weak challenge from the former Benfica man.
As the referee reached for his yellow card, Casemiro was seen shrugging in the direction of Fernandes with a rueful look on his face.
