Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has taken responsibility for their slump this season.
The champions came into this campaign looking to win the Premier League for the third time in a row.
However, ahead of Thursday’s home game against Tottenham, City are eight points behind Arsenal.
Guardiola has now accepted culpability for his team’s failure to match their high standards of recent seasons.
“I would prefer to be eight points in front than behind. But I like to handle this situation though, I love it.
“When I say I like it, it’s because it makes me feel I have to come back again and have to find something to help the team get better, because I’m the man responsible. So, when the players don’t play well and they have the desire to do it, it’s because there’s something wrong in my decisions and I have to find it,” Guardiola said.
