Manchester United goalkeeper, Davud De Gea has been angered by Casemiro’s suspension.
The goalkeeper was also unhappy with the fact that Manchester United’s weekend’s opponents, Arsenal have not had to play mid-week.
Casemiro has been hugely influential for Manchester United since joining the Red Devils from Real Madrid in the summer.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has played a massive part in the impressive turnaround under Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United was held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace on Wednesday, but the big worry for them was the suspension handed to Casemiro, who is arguably their best player this season.
Casemiro picked up a yellow card with 10 minutes to play, thanks to a high lunge on Wilfried Zaha and will now not be available for the crucial top-of-the-table clash against Arsenal at the weekend.
“One of our best players cannot play one of the best teams,” De Gea lamented.
“I don’t understand why we had to play today and they didn’t, that could make the difference on Sunday. He is a big loss for us.”
