Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has echoed the club’s comments on Mason Greenwood.
Ten Hag faced the media ahead of his side’s clash with Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Yesterday, Greenwood had all charges against him dropped following the “withdrawal of key witnesses”.
United released a statement saying the club will conduct their own process before determining the next steps.
Ten Hag was asked three different questions on the future of the player, whether he was part of the internal process and whether he had spoken to Greenwood.
He replied: “No, nothing. I can’t add anything. I refer to the statement of the club.”
When asked if he will be involved in the internal investigation and whether he’d ever spoken to Greenwood, he added: “As I said, at this moment, I cannot add a comment about the process.
Asked again if he’s ever spoken to or met Greenwood: “I can’t say anything about it. I refer to the statement of the club. At this moment, I can’t add anything.”
