The bodies of three missing rappers were found in an abandoned flat, almost two weeks after a search for the men had begun.

Their bodies were found on Thursday, Feb. 2, in a Highland Park apartment complex in Detroit.

The three men, Armani “Marley Whoop” Kelly, 38, Montoya Givens, 31, and Dante “B12” Wicker, had a gig scheduled for January 21, which they cancelled and subsequently went missing,

On Thursday, Feb. 2, Michigan State Police took to Twitter to share updates on the case.

They tweeted: “Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident and more than likely will be there throughout the night.

“As of now, we haven’t confirmed the identity of any victims inside or a manner of death.”

Givens’ mother Cat Fogle confirmed to The Detroit News that she was notified of her son’s death on Thursday (February 2) afternoon by the police.

“They told me they found the three bodies,” said Fogel. “I don’t know what I’m going to do; how I’m going to bury him.”

The 38-year-old Kelly had told his fiance Taylor Perrin that problems with equipment was the reason the performance was cancelled and he was planning to perform at open mic shows and meet with friends.

According to a previous WJBK report, by the morning after the cancelled show, all three of the victims’ phones had stopped sending data.

The families of Givens and Wicker realised all three men knew each other after seeing a news report four days after Kelly’s mother Lorrie Kemp reported him missing on January 23.

Speaking to WJBK, Perrin said: “I just beg for help, for anything. I need answers and, if it comes to it, I need closure, because I will never forget and I will never stop.”

Kemp explained how all three men knew each other, as she posted that her son met Givens and Wicker in the Department of Corrections as she lamented the efforts made by the police force.

“Yes these young men were at DOC but they didn’t deserve this!

“Shame on the police shame on the whole state & shame on u Detroit. If only 1 police dept. would have listened maybe we would NOT b here!,” Kemp said.
