Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said his team cannot think about becoming champions after losing 1-0 to Tottenham on Sunday.
Harry Kane’s first-half finish was enough for the hosts to claim all three points.
The result means City don’t close the five-point gap between them and leaders Arsenal, who lost 1-0 to Everton yesterday.
“We are not in the position to think about being champions, just the next game, Aston Villa, we will prepare well and play our game as best as possible.
“Tottenham has a fantastic team and squad and they punish you.
“They have a lot of quality up front and don’t need much with transitions, set pieces, give a lot of credit to them,” Guardiola said after the game.
