One of Arsenal’s finest players, Thierry Henry has hailed Alexis Sanchez, describing the former Arsenal attacker as a role model.
This is despite the Chilean’s infamous exit from Arsenal.
Sanchez became an Arsenal hero after recording 125 goal contributions in 166 games from 2014 to 2018 for the Gunners.
However, he left the Emirates Stadium in an unpleasant fashion, having attempted to force his way out of the club.
He succeeded in finding his way out of the club and joined rivals Manchester United in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates Stadium.
Chilean forward, however, became a flop at the Theatre of Dreams as his career plummeted as soon as he left north London.
He joined Inter Milan before joining Olympique Marseille last summer where he has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence, scoring 13 in 28 games so far this season.
Henry was only full of praise when discussing the forward on Prime Video.
“At Arsenal, he made me dream. He left but I always liked his desire, the way he presses.
“We all know he’s quality but at Inter I said to myself, ‘He’s started to decline’. But honestly, now at Marseille…
“He’s a role model, on and off the pitch too.”
