Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has insisted his young squad is equipped to handle the pressure of a title race.
The Gunners were knocked off the top of the Premier League table following a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Arteta’s men have been first on the log since November 5.
The Spaniard was asked ahead of their trip to Aston Villa if the pressure is getting to his team.
“If you want to be at the top, you have to [cope with pressure],” he said.
“Looking at what they did the other day gives me a lot of encouragement to think that they are ready.”
