Former Chelsea striker Charlton Cole has said that Manchester United will finish second in the Premier League table this season.

Cole believes that Manchester United will finish above Arsenal in the league table.

Arsenal beat Aston Villa 2-4 to return to the summit of the Premier League on Saturday pending the outcome of Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.

Cole believes that Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens will win the Premier League title while neighbours Man United will finish second and Arsenal third.

“Man United are coming up from nowhere.” Cole said on talkSPORT.

The former West Ham man was asked who he thinks would finish second between Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Cole said: “Ten Hag.

“I just think they’ve got momentum. Arsenal don’t have momentum at the moment…”
