Ahead of the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, Manchester United manager, Ten Hag has been asked for an update on the fitness of Marcus Rashford.
The in-form Red Devils will take on Newcastle United at Wembley, with the target of the first piece of silverware in Ten Hag’s reign.
It is yet to be seen whether Rashford will be in the final squad, having seemingly picked up a problem during Thursday’s win over Barcelona over Old Trafford.
When asked if Rashford will be fit for the final, United boss responded: “I don’t know”.
“Players are now coming in; we have to do investigations, checks. Straight after a game, you can’t say, “you have to wait for checks.”
Ten Hag also went on to rule Anthony Martial out of the final.
“No, he will not be available,” Erik told reporters.
