Residents were filmed rejoicing as military men arrived at the Oba Elegushi area of Lagos state to stop the intimidation of voters.

Videos shared online have show thugs visiting different polling units to tell voters that they are not allowed to vote except it’s for the APC presidential candidate. Oba Elegushi is one such area where the threat was made.

After video of the threat in Elegushi went viral, the military arrived in several cars.

On sighting the military personnels, residents rejoiced and began chanting, “We must vote. we must vote.”
