Mozambique star, Kimiss Rebelina Zavala has said the Young Mambas are battle ready for Saturday’s (today) clash against the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.

Dario Monteiro’s side are looking for their first win at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations which should obviously guarantee them a place in the quarter-finals.

The Mambas held hosts Egypt to a 0-0 draw in their first game but were battered 3-0 by the Cubs of Senegal on Wednesday.

The Flying Eagles are overwhelming favourites to win the contest but Zavala stated that he and his teammates will fight hard to beat the seven-time champions.

“We’re prepared for the match against Nigeria to get a good result,” Zavala was quoted by CAFonline.

“The team is concentrated, and we will give our best tomorrow on the pitch to get a good result,” he added.
The game will kick-off at 6pm Nigerian time.
