Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has lavished praise on Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez following their 7-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Nunez, Salah and Cody Gakpo all scored braces each before Roberto Firmino added the last goal.
Salah’s second goal in the game saw him become the Reds’ all-time top scorer in the Premier League, while Nunez has now netted eight goals.
Gakpo is also beginning to find good form following his January move from Ajax.
Klopp said: “Nobody is in doubt about Darwin’s future impact because he’s a real force of nature.
“But Cody (Gakpo) plays in the most difficult area of the pitch against a man-marking side, but look how he keeps himself on his feet and provides the overview for everyone else. And Mo is Mo!”
The result boosts Liverpool’s chances of finishing in the top four, as they are now three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, having played one game more.
