The Football Association (FA) are investigating Arsenal’s celebrations following their dramatic comeback win against Bournemouth last Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s men went two goals to the relegation-threatened side after one hour at the Emirates.
But the Gunners fought back thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Benjamin White and Reiss Nelson to claim maximum points.
Nelson’s last-gasp goal sparked chaotic scenes, with members of the Arsenal coaching staff and substitutes running onto the pitch to join in the celebrations.
It has now emerged that referee Chris Kavanagh included the incident in his post-match report which he submitted to the FA.
Now, the English game’s governing body is now looking into what happened as a matter of course.
