Enyimba midfielder, Chigozie Obasi has debunked reports he is set to dump the Aba giants for a move to Nasarawa United.
The former Golden Eaglets player has recently been linked with a move away from the eight-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
Obasi is yet to make an appearance for Enyimba this season but is confident of playing a vital role in the second half of the season.
The player revealed that he remains committed to the People’s Elephant and is not desperate to secure a move elsewhere despite his limited playing time.
“I’m not joining Nasarawa United it’s just a rumour that I will be leaving Enyimba soon,” Obasi told DAILY POST.
“I want to play continental football again with this club and I want to succeed under our coach Finidi George,” he added.
