Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has hailed ‘dangerous’ Fabio Vieira, insisting that the midfielder deserves more minutes for the Gunners.

Arteta also said he loves Vieira, adding that the Portuguese was always making things happen for Arsenal against Sporting Lisbon during both teams’ Europa League round of 16 2-2 draw on Thursday.

“I’m really happy with him,” Arteta said at his post-match press conference.

“I think he deserves more minutes than he has, especially in the last two months.

“Obviously, he had a difficult start because he was injured for two months after surgery and was not at the level that we wanted.

“But you saw tonight that he was probably our most dangerous player. He was always making things happen. He is a player that I absolutely love.”
