Former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has identified the Chelsea coach he would take along with him to Bayern Munich.
The German has been reportedly appointed by the German Bundesliga champions to replace Julian Nagelsmann and is now planning to raid Chelsea for highly-rated coach Anthony Barry.
Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Todd Boehly in September 2022 and Tottenham were also interested in bringing back the manager to London.
Barry, meanwhile, was among a select number of coaches who were kept on by Boehly following Tuchel’s sacking and retained by Graham Potter.
The Telegraph reports that the 36-year-old is Tuchel’s main target as he would need to formulate his backroom staff quickly.
Barry was initially appointed at Stamford Bridge by Frank Lampard and is currently combining working for the Premier League giants with assisting the Portugal national team.
