Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro is expected to make a number of changes in his starting line-up for Monday’s (today) 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying reverse fixture against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.
A number of players, who started the first game which the Super Eagles lost 1-0, failed to make expected impact.
Hoffenheim defender, Kevin Akpoguma sustained a facial injury last Friday and has already been ruled out the game.
His replacement, Semi Ajayi, who plays for Sky Bet Championship club, West Bromwich Albion is expected to pair Calvin Bassey in central defence.
On the wing, Moses Simon is expected to take the place of the ineffective Ademola Lookman.
Lookman was replaced by Simon at half-time in the first game.
In attack, OGC Nice striker, Terem Moffi will take the place of Kelechi Iheanacho, who was also poor on Friday.
Moffi and Victor Osimhen will lead the Super Eagles attack.
