England boss, Gareth Southgate has hailed Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, saying the 21-year-old has become ruthless in his game.
According to him, the Arsenal forward has added a ‘ruthless’ side to his game and has ‘real belief’ in front of goal now.
This was after the winger netted a superb curled effort from the edge of the box to give England a 2-0 win over Ukraine at Wembley.
Southgate told Channel 4 that Saka and Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham are humble and always willing to learn.
He described both players as “a joy to work with”, adding that they work unbelievably hard
“It is a top-level finish [from Saka]. That is the ruthless part he has added to his game in the last 18 months or so.
“There were times you weren’t sure he was going to finish but now he has that confidence in front of goal,” he said.
