Argentina superstar Lionel Messi could be on his way to Inter Milan this summer.

The Argentine’s current deal with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of this season but no agreement has been reached between the two parties with the World Cup winner heavily rumoured to leave the club.

Reports in Europe suggest that the 35-year-old could be heading to Saudi Arabia to reignite his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo but Italian side Inter Milan have now reignited their interest in Messi.

Fichajes reports that Messi has many options on the table this summer at this moment with the multiple Italian champions one of the teams to show interest.

The San Siro side are exploring the option of adding him to their side after his PSG contract ends.

PSG’s exit from the Champions League exit saw them change plans to offer the 35-year-old a new contract.

Barcelona are currently leading the race to sign him, but Inter Milan are said to be attempting a surprise move for the Argentine.
