Barcelona have set three non-negotiable conditions for Lionel Messi if he wants to return to the club he left two seasons ago.
It has been widely reported that the Argentine World Cup champion has been wanting a return to the Spanish club where he enjoyed great success.
But Mundo Deportivo reports that the 35-year-old will have to accept some non-negotiable conditions for the move to be possible.
According to the report, the first one is that Messi must accept a lesser role in the squad if he has to return to Camp Nou.
Secondly, Messi will also have to accept a lower weekly pay with the Catalan giants not being in the best position financially.
Thirdly, the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner who is said to be in a frosty relationship with club president Joan Laporta, will also not demand for the captaincy if he returns to his boyhood club.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar will have to accept Robert Lewandowski, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Ronald Araujo as the leaders in the dressing room.
