Manchester United have released £80 million to sign Erik Ten Hag’s target, Harry Kane from Tottenham.
The former Ajax boss wants to improve his attacking options at Old Trafford in the summer transfer window by bringing in a top striker.
Top on the list of trikers are Kane and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, who has scored 21 goals in Serie A this season.
But according to the Daily Star, Ten Hag has picked Kane over Osimhen and United’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Arnold has now given the green light for an £80m offer to be submitted.
The report says that the Red Devils are keen on completing the deal for Harry Kane as quickly as possible and will open negotiations with Spurs before the season is over.
