Former Netherlands international, Ruud Gullit has told Manchester United forward, Wout Weghorst he is not good enough to play for either the Red Devils or the Dutch national side.
Weghorst joined Manchester United on loan in January, as Erik ten Hag looked for a backup to Marcus Rashford, but the 30-year-old has struggled to hit the target at Old Trafford.
The striker has scored just two goals in 18 appearances and he failed to find the net in Netherlands’ 3-0 victory over Gibraltar on Monday.
Gullit said the striker’s long-term future will be away from Old Trafford.
“I always look at him in a weird way,” Gullit told Ziggo Sport.
“I think… he is not good enough for Manchester United and the Orange. Every now and then you see defects.”
