Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has singled out Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah for praise following the Reds’ Premier League 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
Ferdinand described Salah as a ‘world-class’ player after the Egyptian scored the only goal Liverpool scored against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.
Salah gave Liverpool the lead in the 17th minute after being set up by Diogo Jota.
Speaking about Salah, Ferdinand said on BT Sport (via The Boot Room): “This, just wow. Absolutely world-class. Nonchalant finishing.
“I will have to interview him more often if he’s going to produce finishing like that!”
