Chelsea interim manager, Bruno Saltor has claimed that the players score “a lot of goals” in training.
However, it is “completely different” during competitive matches.
Saltor was reacting to the Blues’ 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday night.
The result saw Chelsea fail to get back into the top half of the Premier League, as they still sit in 11th place with 39 points.
“I know they missed chances but what they could affect the most was the attitude and the effort, which was there.
“They score a lot of goals in training. But coming into a game is completely different. It’s something we have been working on but we need to keep going,” Saltor said.
