Football pundit, Richard Keys has told Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag to ‘go back to the Eredivisie’ if he is not comfortable with the busy schedule in the Premier League.
Manchester United returned to top four on Saturday after a 2-0 win over Everton with Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial finding the back of the net for them.
Saturday’s game meant that the Red Devils have played three games in six days, having been beaten by Newcastle United last Sunday.
Erik ten Hag’s side played Brentford on Wednesday night with the squad stretched as they continue to fight on three fronts this season.
Their man this season, Marcus Rashford was forced off injured after 81 minutes on Saturday with what appeared to be a groin strain.
And after Saturday’s victory, Ten Hag, a former Ajax boss, blamed United’s rampant fixture run for the injury.
But Keys on BeIN SPORTS, mocked the Dutchman over his concerns and told him he is free to return to Dutch football if he does not like what he sees.
Addressing Ten Hag, Keys said: “Erik, as regards the scheduling and injuries, it’s the English Premier League.
“If you don’t like it, of course there is always Eredivisie, where you can go and ply your trade.”
