Former Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf has told winger Hakim Ziyech to do himself a favour by leaving the west London club.
Leboeuf believes that the Moroccan, who shone like a million stars during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will rediscover his form if he leaves Chelsea.
Ziyech joined Chelsea from Ajax for a deal of about £33 million in 2020 and has so far helped the west London side win three trophies.
But his place has never been guaranteed under the various managers that have taken charge at Stamford Bridge during this period.
But the African football star has managed to register 102 appearances for the Blues, scoring 14 goals.
The 30-year-old was close to joining Paris Saint-Germain on loan on the January transfer deadline day but the move failed.
Leboeuf told ESPN, “Ziyech is not happy and he wants to work.
“Every time he plays for Morocco, he’s the best player in the world, and every time he plays for Chelsea, he feels sad and lost.
“So I wish him to go somewhere else where he can show to the world he’s still the Ziyech that we have seen when he played for Ajax.’’
