Bruno Fernandes has slammed Manchester United legends Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and others who are pundits over their continued criticism of his behaviour.
Fernandes admitted that sometimes he goes over the line with his emotional on-field antics.
The Portugal international was heavily criticised during Manchester United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool for his behaviour on the pitch.
He was seen waving his arms around in frustration and berating teammates during the game.
When asked about Neville’s comments, Fernandes told Sky Sports: “We all know pundits have to say something to keep their work. The more bad things they say, the more work they get, sometimes.
“We all have to live with that but for me, it’s about my teammates being okay with that. Whenever they are not, I would like them to tell me so I can calm myself down.
“Most of the things that were said after that game were complete lies. Some of the things they say are just to seek attention.”
