Real Madrid has been handed a major boost with manager Carlo Ancelotti confirming that two important players will be fit to face Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Ancelotti’s side won the first leg 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
Goals from Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio gave the La Liga champions the victory over the Premier League giants in Spain.
Ahead of the return leg, Real Madrid has been given a major boost with Ancelotti announcing the imminent return of Vinicius Jr. and Toni Kroos from injury.
The pair sat out on Saturday as Real Madrid defeated Cadiz 2-0 in a La Liga encounter.
However, Ancelotti has claimed that both are set to return to the starting XI against Chelsea on Tuesday. The Real Madrid manager said, as quoted by Madrid Xtra: “Vinicius and Kroos could not play tonight because they had discomforts but they will train tomorrow and will play against Chelsea.”
