Italian football chiefs have reversed Juventus’ 15-point deduction.

This sees the Old Lady jump back up into third place in the Serie A table.

Juve are now ahead of Inter Milan and AC Milan in the Champions League places.

They have seen the punishment revoked pending a new trial to further clarify their capital gains controversy, meaning the FIGC Federal Court of Appeal must re-evaluate.

The court’s investment is likely to drag on until after the end of this season, so Juve’s ultimate punishment could be for the 2023/2024 season.

Thursday’s news immediately pushes Massimiliano Allegri’s side up to third place on 59 points, bumping Jose Mourinho’s Roma down to fourth.

With Napoli almost out of sight at the top of Serie A, Juventus can finish in the second spot, as they now sit just two points behind Lazio with eight games remaining.
