Manchester United are sweating on Bruno Fernandes’ fitness ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, ESPN reports.
Fernandes picked up an ankle injury during the first half of their FA Cup semi-final against Brighton on Sunday.
Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, contemplated taking the midfielder off, but he insisted on playing on.
He was eventually replaced during the first half of extra-time.
Fernandes was limping as he left Wembley Stadium after the match, but was not wearing a protective boot.
He will be assessed by medical staff before a decision is made about whether or not he can train with the squad this week and feature at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
