Former Chelsea star, Jason Cundy has said that the club won’t pick up another point this season, insisting that Frank Lampard is lucky not to be fighting relegation.
Chelsea were beaten again for the fifth time since Lampard was appointed their interim manager following the sack of Graham Potter a couple of weeks ago.
The Blues fell to a 2-0 defeat against Brentford on Wednesday to record their fifth straight defeat and eighth consecutive match without a win
They maintain their 11th position, ten points off the relegation zone.
Their next games would be against Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle.
“There’s so much wrong at Chelsea Football Club from top to bottom,” the former Blues star told talkSPORT.
“We’re in disarray. I don’t think we’ll pick up another point this season. The best thing that’ll happen at the end of the season is that it ends and we reset and start again, as long as we don’t get relegated.
“We’ve got 39 points, but I don’t think we’ll get another point. Honestly, I don’t.
“Thomas Tuchel is the only reason we are OK. If he didn’t get ten points, we would be right in it.
“If they don’t get it right, Chelsea will be in a relegation battle next season,” he added.
