Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed the two players set to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

According to Romano, Chelsea are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone and Southampton’s Romeo Lavia in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Chelsea are undergoing one of their worst seasons in the Premier League.

The Blues are currently sitting in an unexpected 11th spot in the 2022-2023 Premier League table.

The west London club are expected to dip into the transfer market to bolster their squad, particularly their midfield, as Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic are all likely to secure an exit this summer.

In his column for Caught Offside, Romano said: “I already mentioned some of the names they like in the last two months, including Romeo Lavia and Manu Kone.

“But the decision will be made with the new Chelsea coach, likely to be [Mauricio] Pochettino before the start of new season. It is not a two players’ race between these two; it is something that is absolutely open.”
