Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has said their 4-1 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night has put their title destiny in their hands.
The Premier League champions thrashed Mikel Arteta’s men at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones gave City the lead in the first half. De Bruyne made it 3-0, before Rob Holding pulled one back.
Erling Haaland sealed the win for Pep Guardiola’s men with a late goal.
Arsenal now have 75 points, only two more than City, who still have two outstanding fixtures.
“They are two points in front of us so we’re still not top.
“You have to win the games in hand. We cannot lose our focus.
“Now it’s in our hands. When it’s in our hands we have to use it,” Guardiola told BBC Sport.
