Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling has revealed what whoever takes over as the manager at Stamford Bridge would find in the club’s dressing room.
Chelsea’s owners led by Todd Boehly are expected to announce their new manager any moment from now as interim boss Frank Lampard has failed to lift the club.
Following the sack of Graham Potter, Lampard was hired on an interim basis to see off the season but the Englishman has been defeated in five of the five games he has been in charge.
Sterling said that whoever takes over at Stamford Bridge will be working with a highly talented squad. He believes the players are there for the manager to convert them into winners.
“Whoever takes over will find a bunch of talented players. Like anything, wherever you go, you need a structure, that we as players follow, and a leader. It’s as simple as that.”
