Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has said he doesn’t expect Pep Guardiola’s side to win the treble this season.
Richards said he is worried for Man City because of their upcoming Champions League semi-final tie against Real Madrid later this month.
Man City are in pole position to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Arsenal.
The Citizens have also reached the FA Cup final, where they will face Manchester United in June. They are also in the Champions League semi-final stage.
Speaking on the YouTube channel Filthy Fellas, Richards said, “I don’t think they are going to do the treble,” Richards said.
“I am worried about that game [against Real Madrid].
“I am worried. I am worried, man. I am worried. I have got to be honest – I am worried about them, I wrote off Real Madrid last season.
“In the right moments, they know how to get it done. The only thing is now, the second leg is at the Etihad, it is not at the Bernabeu. That could be the difference,” he said.
